The Department of "Electrical Power Engineering" organized a production internship at the JSC "Fergana Thermal Power Center" for students of the university.

The students were given information about the structure of the power plant, previously produced steam turbines and turbogenerators by teachers and relevant specialists of the enterprise.

Also, students were given information and understanding about a new type of gas-turbine device and a newly built 2 MW solar photoelectric plant on the territory of the enterprise. As a result of the meeting, the students' knowledge in the field was strengthened. Students have a desire to achieve great achievements in this field in the future. We are grateful to the management of "Fergana IEM" JSC and FerPI for helping to organize such events.
