At the meeting, issues of cooperation in training qualified specialists for the field of architecture and urban planning in Fergana region and formation of practical skills corresponding to world standards were discussed.

Currently, cooperation is being established in two directions between Fergana Polytechnic Institute and Turin Polytechnic University with 164 years of history, the most advanced technical university in Italy. The first is the establishment of two-degree joint bachelor's, master's and doctoral educational programs in the field of academic education, and the second is the implementation of real projects in society involving these students and scientists.

In recent years, along with other regions of our country, the governor of the region noted that the scale of construction works in Fergana region is constantly increasing year by year, one of the most prestigious technical universities in the world prepares qualified architects and urban designers who are important in this regard. He expressed his satisfaction that the Polytechnic University of Turin established cooperation with our region and emphasized that they are ready to support this cooperation in every way.

Michele Bonino, one of Italy's leading scholars of architecture and urban design, is also a professor at a number of leading universities in the world, and was the chief architect of the Shougan Olympic Park, built in a modern futuristic style for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.

Michele Bonino expressed his opinion about the objects he saw during his visit to our region today, in particular, Fergana Polytechnic in the implementation of the planned restoration project to restore the Horde of Khudoyorkhan in the city of Koqan to its original form. expressed their readiness to fully participate together with the institute.
