Results of measures for the development of women at Fergana State Technical University

Fergana State Technical University is implementing comprehensive programs to develop and support women. All conditions have been created for all female professors, teachers, students and employees to work on themselves. In particular, extensive work is being carried out to help female professors work on projects and startups and improve their projects. The university has created all conditions for women to work on themselves.

This path, based on the principles of in-depth education, equal opportunities and sustainable development, is aimed at encouraging women not only to study, but also to actively participate in scientific and creative work, production processes. Below are the measures implemented by the university, their goals, indicators and prospects. From year to year, the system of supporting diversity in classes, practical exercises and projects, including for girls in technical and engineering disciplines, is increasing. Mentoring program - mentoring activities are carried out for new students with leading female professors, doctoral students or specialists who have adapted to their work.

Fergana State Technical University has organized a network of advisors for students and employees. Last year, Z. Qadamova participated in the final stage of the Engineer competition. She won a cash prize of $ 30,000 in the President tech awards startup competition. This can be seen as a vivid example of the conditions created for the development of women. During the event, organized on September 8, N. Usmonova, Advisor to the Rector for Women's Affairs of the University, presented a report on the work of the Women's Council in the 2024-2025 academic year. Also, systematic work was carried out on the work plan for the 2025-2026 academic year and future tasks were determined. It was agreed to establish the "Qizlarjon", "Olima qizlar", and "Lider qizlar" clubs in order to support the social, political, and scientific activity of female students and to unleash their potential.
