On July 24, 2025, the opening ceremony of the professional exhibition "StudentExpo – 2025" was held in Fergana in order to promote the employment of graduates of higher educational institutions, provide them with decent jobs and attract them to entrepreneurial activities. Deputy Governor of Fergana region Sherzodjon Polvanov, director of the "Step to the Future" center Elmurod Hoshimov and rector of Fergana State Technical University Uktam Salomov opened the event with an introductory speech. They noted that after Tashkent and Samarkand, the exhibition will be held in Ferghana as a great opportunity for the youth of the region.

The exhibition "StudentExpo – 2015" was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency for Youth Affairs and local authorities. The main purpose of the event is to connect graduate students with employers, develop their professional skills and support startup projects. At the opening ceremony, which took place at the Central Sports Complex in Fergana, the governor of the region, representatives of the ministry and heads of enterprises made speeches. They noted that the youth employment rate in our country has exceeded 90 percent, and said that this indicator can be further improved through such exhibitions. Over 500 jobs were offered during the exhibition, as well as entrepreneurship grants and advisory sessions.

Fergana State Technical University showed a special interest in the event. The university has been promoted from the status of Fergana Polytechnic Institute to the university level in 2025, which today trains highly qualified personnel in the field of technology, engineering and economics. 

Our students had the opportunity to present their projects at StudentExpo 2015. For example, the development of robotic devices developed by our students in the direction of mechatronics attracted great interest. This will not only help students find jobs, but also show the innovative potential of our university", the exhibition included negotiations with representatives of large enterprises such as Fergana Oil and Gas and UzAuto Motors. As a result, 10 students graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.

In general, the "StudentExpo-2015" was a success for Fergana State Technical University. About 70 employees and students from the university not only demonstrated their potential, but also received realistically job offers and cooperation agreements. According to the results of the event, 20% of FDTU graduates got jobs through the exhibition, and more than 10 students also received entrepreneurial grants. These indicators confirm the university's focus on quality and practice

In conclusion, such events as "StudentExpo – 2015" encourage the younger generation to contribute to the country's development. Employees and students of Fergana State Technical University actively participated in this exhibition and demonstrated innovations in the field of technology. In the future, such activities are expected to increase and further improve youth employment. The university management plans to even more widely participate in similar exhibitions in the future, which will open up new opportunities for students.
