One of the most important tasks facing the institutions of higher education institutions today is to ensure the successful integration of graduates into the labor market. This process is carried out by bringing their professional training and practical skills closer to the demands of a realistic working environment. In this context, the fruitful cooperation between the higher education and the manufacturing sector is beneficial not only for students, but also for the entire economy, which creates new opportunities and plays an important role in the training of skilled personnel. Events organized by the Department of Vehicle Engineering, Fergana State Technical University serve with this goal to strengthen graduates' employment and professional skills.
On August 18, 2015, at the Department of Vehicle Engineering of Fergana State Technical University, meetings and conversations were held to improve the readiness of graduate students for the labor market, to acquaint them with employers and to ensure employment. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, large industrial enterprises and the transport sector.

Chief Inspector of the Sector for Coordination and Control of Road Traffic of the Transport Department of the Fergana region of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Ibragimov Imomali Tadjibayevich;
Leading inspector of the Fergana regional department for control of road and water transport of the Transport Control Inspectorate – Tajaliev Abrorjon Azizjon oglu;
specialists of JSC "Ferganazot";

During the meeting, graduates were provided with detailed information about practical experience, available vacancies, trends in the development of the industry and current requirements for the potential of personnel. Employers have provided students with advice on developing the skills needed to find employment, qualification certificates, technical literacy, communication culture, teamwork skills and skills to use modern software tools.
Within the framework of the event, available jobs were provided in the following areas:
Transport department: in logistics and transportation;
JSC "Ferganazot": in the field of maintenance and equipment operation;
"Saodat Trans" LLC: Specialists on technical control of automobiles.
The meeting was important to the graduates in several ways:
Strengthening practical ties: Cooperation between the university and employers has reached a new level. In the future, it is planned to expand the practical bases and implement joint training projects.
Ensure student employment: On-site interviews were conducted for some alumni and initial recruitment agreements were reached.
