Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No 739 of November 21, 2020 "On measures to further strengthen the social protection of orphans and children deprived of the guardianship of their parents or other legal representatives" and Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated October 25, 2021, No. 656 "On additional measures on social support for orphans and children deprived of parental care" In order to ensure the implementation of decisions at the institute, the order of the rector of Fergana State Technical University No. 34 Sh/T dated January 19, 2024 was approved, which provides financial and spiritual support based on the social status of student youth, financial assistance and encouragement to orphans and children deprived of parental care, as well as students with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups for 2024 by the university's working group on coordination; 5 full state supporters, 20 real orphans, 139 students with disabilities for 2025; 11 students with state support, 31 genuine orphans, 174 students with disabilities were studied, and they were provided with rooms in the university dormitory.

Currently, in our country, special attention is paid to the issue of equal opportunities for representatives of all strata of education. In particular, large-scale conditions are being created for students with disabilities to study, gain knowledge and actively participate in social life.

First, an inclusive education system is being introduced  in higher education  institutions  . This system allows students with disabilities to study together without being separated from their healthy peers. To do this, specially equipped classrooms, adapted technical means and additional auxiliary services are provided in classrooms.

Second,  access to modern information technologies in education  is expanding. For example, audio tutorials, Braille printed materials and special screen curricula have been introduced for visually impaired students. For students with hearing impairments, video lessons with subtitles and sign language interpreters are being introduced.

Third,  the infrastructure of educational institutions for students with disabilities  is being adapted. At the entrances to the buildings, ramps, special elevators, handles, wide doors and wheelchair-accessible corridors are being built. This allows them to move freely in the process of learning.

Fourth, there is material and moral support for such students. The state provides them  with scholarships, grants, dormitory and transport benefits. Additional assistance is also provided by various foundations and non-governmental organizations.

Fifth,  conditions are also being expanded for students with disabilities to actively participate in social life. They actively participate in sports competitions, creative contests, cultural events. This helps them adapt to society, express themselves and develop as individuals.
