Currently, a number of decisions have been made in order to further develop and popularize fine and applied arts of Uzbekistan on a global scale, support talented young artists, improve the system of training highly qualified personnel in the field of art education on the basis of foreign best practices and implement creative projects with the use of new modern technologies. In order to develop fine and applied arts, Fergana State Technical University also carried out some work of the highest level. Including 5 initiatives, the first initiative to meaningfully organize student leisure for young people: increasing young people's interest in music, art, literature, theater and other kinds of art, revealing their talents. To realize this, the construction of a new practical training facility at the university began in 2024. was built. 360 million soums were financed for the start of construction of Fergana State Technical University.
Since its inception, the university has been doing practical work for gifted students in the classrooms. For example, several decorative sculptural manuments in the outer squares of the university and the historical symbols that have been erected in the avenues of the region. At the beginning of each academic year, a model of newly arrived students expressing the general view of the university was created by students who are interested in this art. At the beginning of the 2025-2016 academic year, Fergana State Technical University has launched a new practical training room. Currently, all kinds of conditions have been created at the training room for more than 100 students
The commissioning of this hands-on workshop has seen a significant improvement in the practical creative skills of many students. In 2025-2026, this workshop has created circles in the areas of pencil, color, sculpture.
Together with the students, the state order is carried out on the basis of economic contracts.
This practical training workshop vividly demonstrates that it strengthens students' focus on education, ensures social stability and is a key step in the university's sustainable development strategy.
As a result of the initiatives undertaken, the life of the university has experienced positive changes. A modern and convenient practical training room was created for students, faculty and representatives of the public were actively involved in these processes. The values of a healthy lifestyle, social responsibility and sustainable development were strengthened in the students. Through the Hands-on Training Workshop, access infrastructures and additional services, students were able to focus more on learning.
In the future, it is recommended to expand such projects, to equip other premises on the basis of private partnerships, to introduce digital services and to support students' research and practical projects. Thus, the university will be able to strengthen its position in international rankings and more effectively contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals.
