Students of Fergana State Technical University (FSTU) are active in the field of innovative thinking, creation of startup projects and development of technological solutions. In 2025, the University took part in a number of events not only nationally, but also internationally, which provided students and scientists with the opportunity to master modern technologies, scientific and innovative approaches and strengthen their teamwork skills.

These initiatives not only provide students with practical knowledge, but also train them to find solutions to broader social and economic problems. Thus, the university is taking one of the important steps towards quality education and sustainable development. Students gain not only academic success through their ideas and startup projects, but also practical results, which plays a great role in their personal and professional development.

The hackathon "Code Caravan II 2025", held on the initiative of the Youth Affairs Agency, Startup Garage and a number of partner organizations, was a space for innovative ideas and technological solutions. The event was held in a friendly and collaborative atmosphere, with more than 150 young people participating.

Together with their teams, the students developed technological solutions to existing problems, turned ideas into real products and presented them to the jury at the final stage - "Pitch Day". FDTU students won 1st place and 3rd place in this competition and were awarded with memorable prizes and vouchers.

In July 2025, the Head of International Projects and Investments Department of FDTU Ravshanbek Abdurakhimov took part in the PEELx Impact Workshop organized by Transfer / Startup Service Potsdam.

During the workshop, students and scientists participated in hands-on training on turning startup ideas into business models, Design Thinking, Impact Business Modeling and teambuilding. Working closely with trainers and experts, students had the opportunity to develop their own startup projects, create spin-off companies and cooperate with the international scientific community. This initiative has provided ample opportunities for FDTU to support startup and innovative projects, student exchanges and the establishment of spin-off companies.

The IOKA Case Challenge, held on September 16, 2025, tested students' creativity and startup approaches. The teams of the Startup Center of FDTU successfully participated and won the 2nd place and 3rd place.

This competition was aimed at attracting young people into the processes of the digital economy, developing creative thinking and putting startup ideas into practice. The students impressed the jury with their innovative approach and effective presentations.

Students of Fergana State Technical University actively participated in various innovative and start-up events. Through the PEELx Impact Workshop, students had the opportunity to create spin-off companies, phase out startup projects, and strengthen their teamwork skills. Meanwhile, in the IOKA Case Challenge competition, the teams of FDTU Startup Center won the attention of the jury, taking the 2nd and 3rd places respectively.

Student activities spanned several key areas. They focused on innovative thinking, turning startup ideas into business model, teamwork and developing skills in the digital economy. Thanks to these processes, students had the opportunity to expand on their startup and research projects, establish new partnerships, gain practical experience.

The result of these activities was clearly felt. Students have significantly increased their level of knowledge, skills and engagement. At the same time, the innovative image of the university at the international and national levels was strengthened, and the circle of cooperation with the local and international communities was expanded. This serves to further consolidate the position of Fergana State Technical University as a leader in innovation and start-ups.
