An official meeting was held in Potsdam, Germany, between the Rector of Fergana State Technical University, Professor Uktam Salomov, and the President of Potsdam University, Professor Dr. Oliver Günther. This meeting was held as part of an official visit to Germany led by the Governor of Fergana Region, Khairullo Bozorov.

At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached between the two higher education institutions on cooperation in many areas. In particular, an exchange program for students will be launched starting from the 2025/2026 academic year. At the initial stage, the exchange will be intended for the master's degree level and will focus mainly on the following areas:

• Digital Engineering

• Software Systems Engineering
