Branches of the Department of “Food Technology and Safety” established at partner production enterprises
In paragraph 16.2 of the report of the videoconference meeting No. 32 on measures to further improve the activities of higher educational institutions and personnel training in the field of engineering, held on June 20, 2024 under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Mirziyoyev, the task of “...establishing branches of the department at partner production enterprises” was set. A total of 133 bachelors and 12 master's students are studying at the Department of “Food Technology and Safety” in 3 areas and 2 specialties. Our department has established permanent cooperation with the large, developed manufacturing enterprises of the region: Ferghana France LLC, which produces various soft drinks and wines from fruits and fruit products, Baraka Un JSC, which processes 120 tons per day, Ilyasov LLC, which produces fruits, vegetables and dried fruits using modern technologies, Muslim Oil LLC, which produces oils and fats, Ansar LLC, which produces soft drinks, Sadaf LLC, which produces milk and dairy products, Optimal Impuls LLC, which produces canned products, and Rashidon Yogdusi LLC and Navbahor LLC, which produce modern products from it.

In accordance with the order of the rector of the institute (order No. 332 X/T dated 29.10.2024), a total of 319 3-4 year students studying at the department of “Food Technology”, including 60720100 - Food Technology 3-4 year students, will be trained in the dual education system at “Ferghana-France” LLC in the subjects of “Alcohol Production Technology” and “Fundamentals of Food Safety” and “Food Production Processes and Devices”, “Muslim-OIL” LLC in the subjects of “Storage and Packaging of Oil and Fat Products”, “Fat Processing”, “Ferghana Don Non” LLC in the subjects of “Pasta Products Technology”, “Bread Products Technology”, as well as 60720500 - Functional Nutrition and Baby Products Technology 3-4 year students According to the 5+1 program, “Optimal Impuls” LLC is focused on dual education in the disciplines of “Canning Technology” and “Food Safety” in accordance with the dual education system.
In order to further develop the activities of the branches, the chief technologist of “Ferghana France” LLC M. Mamadaliyev 0.25 units (№ 485 Sh/T 18.09.2024), the head of the central laboratory of “Muslim Oil” LLC R. Khasanova 0.25 units (№ 476 Sh/T 13.09.2024) were accepted as assistants to the department and are conducting classes at the production enterprise.
Simultaneously with dual education, the problems of enterprises are being studied and a “Problem Database” is being formed (appended). Based on these problems, it is planned to conduct scientific research and economic contracts, as well as to assign them as scientific topics for masters.
